Battles, energy, and coaching

Range slots, active skills, tactical modifiers, and bond.

Battles run an autonomous simulation. Choose a loadout before the fight, then use coaching suggestions during combat. Skills occupy range bands: melee, close, mid, and long. Their energy cost, power, accuracy, windup, impact, and recovery are listed on each skill page.

A skill’s stat scaling, range, timing, and effects help determine its role. Skills spend battle energy; energy is separate from the stamina spent to enter an activity. AGI is part of combat behavior rather than a direct promise that one extra point refills the gauge at a fixed rate.

Tonics are next-battle consumables; relics are equipped tactical modifiers. Neither is a permanent fitness stat gain. The skill pages show effects from the current combat definitions at levels 1 and 10, rather than treating old catalog shorthand as a different passive system.

Bond affects whether a monster accepts coaching suggestions. See Bonds and care for the current acceptance table.
