Fitness sync and stats
How Health Connect activity becomes STR, AGI, STA, and WILL.
← All guidesReal activity is the only thing that permanently raises STR, AGI, STA, and WILL. Nothing you buy, craft, win, or find in the game raises them. The game reads your recorded activity from Android Health Connect, so the sync screen only works on an Android build with Health Connect installed. On other builds the screen reports itself as unavailable and the rest of the game plays normally.
How a sync works
- Connect. You grant read access once, through Health Connect. The game asks for eleven record types: steps, distance, exercise sessions, active calories, heart rate, blood oxygen, resting heart rate, sleep sessions, weight, body fat, and lean body mass.
- Read. The game reads the last 90 days and sorts them into calendar days. A workout belongs to the day it started. A night of sleep belongs to the day it ended.
- Preview. The sync screen lists your totals and the part that is not credited yet. Reading changes nothing; opening the screen awards no stats.
- Sync now. Only this button credits stats. It compares the new data against what it has already credited, and awards the difference.
- Record. The credited amount is stored per day, and each workout is remembered by its own record identifier. The same activity can never be counted twice.
Days when you did not open the app are still credited, as long as they are inside the 90-day window. Days older than that fall out of the window and cannot be claimed later.
What a workout earns
A workout earns training points from its intensity, not from its length. Two signals decide the amount: minutes spent in a heart-rate zone, and active calories. A moderate minute is 120 to 149 bpm. A hard minute is 150 bpm or above. Each heart-rate reading counts for the time until the next reading, up to 2 minutes.
training points = hard minutes / 2 + moderate minutes / 4 + active kcal / 75
Steps and distance are not part of this number. A recorded workout with no heart-rate data and no active calories earns no workout points, even if it lasted an hour. A phone without a heart-rate sensor usually records neither, so most of that player’s gain comes from everyday movement and sleep instead.
Training points are then divided between STR, AGI, and STA according to the kind of workout. Activity types and training splits has the full table.
Example. A run with 10 hard minutes, 20 moderate minutes, and 300 active kcal earns 14 training points. Running splits 10% STR, 51% AGI, and 39% STA, so that run is worth 1.4 STR, 7.14 AGI, and 5.46 STA.
Fractions are kept. The game adds up every workout and every day in one sync and rounds once at the end. Several short sessions can reach a full point together, even when none of them would round up alone.
Everyday movement
Steps and calories that belong to no recorded workout still count. They are treated as ordinary movement rather than training, so they use one fixed split and a curve with falling returns.
movement points = 1.8 × square root of (steps / 1400 + active kcal / 300)
Steps and calories already counted inside a workout are removed first, so the same effort is not paid twice. Movement points are split 15% STR, 35% AGI, and 50% STA. Walking further always gives more, but each extra step gives a little less than the one before it.
Sleep and recovery
Sleep length gives STA: one point per 120 minutes, up to 4 points for one night. The state of the day can add a further bonus on top. Each bonus below is granted once per calendar day, not once per sync.
| Daily signal | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Slept 7 to 9 hours | +2 WILL |
| Slept 6 to 10 hours, outside that range | +1 WILL |
| Average blood oxygen 96% or above | +1 WILL |
| A workout plus at least 6 hours of sleep | +1 WILL |
| REM sleep 90 minutes or more | +2 WILL |
| REM sleep 45 minutes or more | +1 WILL |
| Resting heart rate 55 bpm or below | +2 STA |
| Resting heart rate 65 bpm or below | +1 STA |
| Deep sleep 90 minutes or more | +2 STA |
| Deep sleep 45 minutes or more | +1 STA |
This daily bonus stops at 5 WILL and 4 STA. Sleep stages are an extra layer on top of sleep length, never the only source of a stat: if your device records no stages, the length-based credit still applies in full.
Consistency
Every new active day adds 2 WILL. It is granted the first time a calendar day is credited, so syncing the same day again adds nothing. WILL is built by returning often, not by one large workout.
Daily limits
Each raw signal is capped per day, so no single day can be farmed for an unlimited gain.
| Signal | Counted up to |
|---|---|
| Steps | 12,000 per day |
| Distance | 15 km per day |
| Sleep | 600 minutes per day |
| Hard heart-rate minutes | 60 per day |
| Moderate heart-rate minutes | 120 per day |
| Active calories | 1,500 kcal per day |
What else a sync does
A sync also tops up energy: each point of STA gives 3 energy. Every day that produced a new gain raises bond by 0.5, inside the shared daily allowance described in Bonds and care. Syncing the same data again adds no stats, no energy, and no bond.
The game also distinguishes your monster’s stats from the spendable stamina used to enter activities and the energy gauge used during a battle. A tonic can change the next fight without raising a permanent stat.
Raw health-provider records and precise player location remain on the device. Optional cloud backups can include derived progression and credited health totals. See the privacy page for the current disclosure and support for connection help.
